The body structure efficiently absorbs and distributes energy from frontal and side impacts, while adoption of a high-strength cabin structure helps reduce cabin deformation. The body structure also helps to mitigate impact energy to the head of a pedestrian in the event of a pedestrian collision. Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) detects lateral skidding during cornering and automatically controls the engine’s output as well as the braking force on each tyre, helping the driver to maintain control. SRS airbags are adopted for the driver’s and front passenger’s seats and Anti-lock brake system with EBD helps to maintain vehicle stability and control when braking.
